I specialize in shooting seniors!! My goal is to truly capture your personality and expression. I want you to have fun and enjoy your session time. I take a variety of posed and candid shots, head and shoulder, 1/2 body, full body, and environmental when possible. I will have locations and poses in mind for your session and I am excited to hear any ideas you may have to make your session fun and unique to you. See my Senior Session Pricing for details on session packages and my Seniors Portfolio to see examples of my work.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND OR PARENT TO MY SENIOR SESSION?
Yes! You are welcome to bring a guest (boyfriend/girlfriend, best friend, sibling, or parents) to your session. Some seniors are more comfortable having someone they know come with them, others are not. I want you to be relaxed and for you to have a great time so that your personality shines through in your portraits. If you bring a guest/family, I am happy to take a shot of you with them for your gallery. I also offer a Family/Friend Mini Session Add On for an additional fee (see mySenior Session Pricing Page for more details).
DO YOU HAVE A SENIOR REP PROGRAM?
No, I prefer to do Senior Model Sessions instead of a Senior Rep Program. Each Spring I will post a Senior Model Call on my IG and/or FB page for juniors of the upcoming graduating class. I do senior model sessions to test new locations and to have current marketing photos. Senior Models will receive a complimentary Senior Model Session that will include 10 social media images. Printing images and prints will be available for purchase.
We always have a great time!! No modeling experience required, no purchase required, you just need to be comfortable in front of the camera and enjoy having your photo taken. Great style is a plus!

WHAT DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
On portrait sessions, I shoot with two Nikon D750s and fast prime lenses. My favorite lens is my Nikon 85mm 1.4G. I also enjoy shooting film and use a Nikon F2A, Nikon F100 and Pentax 645N. Looking to the future I have a mirrorless Fuji XT2 that I use in extra bright conditions and use a 70-200 2.8 or 56mm 1.2 lens.
WHAT IS YOUR STYLE?
My style is "light and airy" and "clean and classic". I learned photography on film. Getting it right in-camera was an important goal for film, you couldn't waste shots! My style provides images that are timeless, giving you portraits that will look great on your walls for years to come. Trendy presets are not part of my normal processing. They will become dated within a few years and I want my clients to have quality heirloom photographs to last a lifetime. I take both posed and candid shots. Every session is unique due to weather and the changing seasons.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Bring outfits that you love and reflect your personality and style. Solid colors and simple patterns work best; avoid small stripes, white and black marbled knits and large logos (they do not usually photograph well). Accessories are a great way to add variety to your session and change up outfits. Boots and high heels are great, nice sandals, sneakers, loafers, and flats all work well. Feel free to message, text, or call me if you have any questions about what to wear! I will email you a "Preparing for Your Session Guide" to help in making your session great.
EDITING AND RETOUCHING
I pick the very best images from your session to professionally edit for your gallery. What does that mean? I shoot in RAW which provides the very best quality for your portraits. But RAW files must be edited, this is the digital equivalent to the darkroom in the film days.
Basic retouching is also included on all images that are purchased or included in your session package. Basic retouching includes removing obvious blemishes, lightening dark circles and brightening smiles.
OTHER PORTRAIT SESSIONS
Seniors are my focus and all I book September and October. The remainder of the year I shoot Individual, Kids, Family and Headshot Sessions. See my Portrait Session Pricing Here.
This is a part-time business for me so I usually only book 1 session per week, booking in advance is highly recommended as my busy months' book up quickly. I will do last minute bookings if I am available (especially if it is for a yearbook deadline). Bookings are available year-round. Winter sessions available on a case by case basis depending on the weather and my schedule. A non-refundable deposit of $100 and a signed contract is required for all bookings to reserve the date (due within 7 days). The remaining amount due before your session starts. Email me to book or if you have any questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
